My cat got a fish hook stuck in her mouth we got it out but now her cheek is swollen and puffy what should do?
Ok well i have a kitten and she was just being curious and somehow got a fish hook stuck in her inner cheek. My dad didn’t want to take to the vet so he took it out himself with plyers. Im worried about her now because her cheek is all swollen and puffy. Can anyone share some knowledge on what i should do?
If this just happened, then wait a while, and see what happens…
it should go down, and start to heal….
If it’s been 2-3 days, and it’s still red and puffy, go to the vet..
If your dad pushed it through, and pulled it out, you might try a little hydrogen peroxide…be careful to stay away from her eyes though…
